Charles A. Phillips Jr., RPLS

After joining KCI in 1985 as a lead surveyor in the Laurel office, Chuck Phillips became head of the Baltimore surveys division in 1991, the Laurel office in 1992, and the Baltimore site engineering division in 1994. In 1997, he was appointed head of the site engineering and surveys group and promoted to senior vice president. Since taking over, Phillips has expanded the site group to include the mechanical and electrical division, as well as the offices in Newark and Lewes, Del., Morgantown, W.Va., and Sewell, N.J. In 2002, he was named site/buildings/telecommunications market manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, and now serves as site and facilities discipline manager. Phillips is a member of the Maryland Homebuilders Association and the Maryland Society of Surveyors.
