Survey Control and GPS Field/Data Collection

KCI has made significant investments in Global Position System (GPS)/Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-related equipment. Among the most important advances in GNSS technology, implementation of multi-constellation satellite systems and cellular-based telemetry allows KCI technicians to survey between control points with no line of site, essentially revolutionizing the way our field crews perform geodetic and control surveys. KCI surveyors use advancements in cellular technology to perform data collection of long distances without interruption or security risk. These productivity gains can be seen on such daily tasks as topographic and detail surveys, stakeout, local control and precision hydrographic surveys.
