Kristin Knight-Meng is a senior design engineer in KCI’s Natural Resources practice. She specializes in the assessment, design, and monitoring of ecosystem restoration projects. She utilizes her background in aquatic ecosystems and natural systems engineering to complete restoration design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, geospatial analysis, geomorphologic assessments, monitoring, permitting, and biological surveys for stream and wetland restoration, watershed assessment and prioritization, and stormwater management projects.
Knight-Meng is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina. Her educational background includes bachelor’s degrees in biology/environmental studies and civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental management. Her work has been honored with an Engineering Excellence Award for several projects, including the Prairie Creek Treatment Train at Grand Lake St. Marys, Ohio.
