Mary Wiedorfer is a Vice President and Regional Practice Leader for construction management in the Mid-Atlantic. Her nearly three decades in the industry has given her diverse experience in all facets of design, construction management and program management for transportation, facilities, federal and municipal projects. Wiedorfer’s breadth of experience includes detailed understanding of the numerous public agency requirements for environmental compliance, historic preservation, design and construction standards, as well as providing oversight of numerous LEED projects ranging from Silver to Platinum throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia.
Wiedorfer earned her bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. She is a registered professional engineer in three states and became a Certified Construction Manager through the Construction Manager Certification Institute and a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute. In addition, she is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional from the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure.
