Stephen Barlett is an environmental scientist and senior project manager with experience developing and implementing large-scale environmental management and compliance programs for industries, state transportation agencies and major cities. This experience has given him a unique ability to take complex and often overlapping government regulations, break them down to their key components, and develop comprehensive strategies for compliance—always with the goal of providing simple, concise and cost-effective solutions to his clients.
His expertise includes facility-wide environmental compliance management, underground / aboveground storage tank compliance inspections, development and review of SPCC Plans, petroleum spill response planning, petroleum release investigations and remediation, industrial stormwater management, hazardous waste management, employee exposure assessments, and inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint, radon gas, and other harmful materials. Mr. Barlett is also extensively knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems.
In 2001, Stephen earned a bachelor of science in Environmental Resource Management from Pennsylvania State University. He is an EPA AHERA Building Inspector and a Certified Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector.
