Solana Ridge Subdivision is an established San Antonio community comprised of more than 1,500 lots divided into 19 sections along with a commercial development area.
To address challenges resulting from a floodplain that runs through the development, KCI completed a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) and a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) that proposed the removal of specific lots from the floodplain. Our team then designed nearly 2,000 LF of off-site sanitary sewer pipeline, which required crossing an existing pipeline, to provide utility service for the reconfigured lot site plan.
KCI’s scope of work also included the preparation of construction documents and subdivision plats for critical infrastructure, including residential streets, water, sewer, and drainage systems. This comprehensive initiative has led to a fully functional, resilient, and sustainable development for residents and businesses alike.
