The St. Mary’s County Courthouse in Leonardtown, Md., has been located on the same historic site for nearly 300 years, tracing its roots to 1710. KCI served as construction manager for the $11.6 million renovation and expansion of the courthouse. Our application of proactive scheduling solutions and value engineering techniques minimized delays and saved the county nearly $440,000. Other services included schedule review and implementation, full-time daily inspections, maintenance of all project documentation and submittals, cost estimating and negotiations, onsite equipment and materials coordination, and substantial and final completion and startup inspections.
