KCI provided surveying and subsurface engineering services for a new transmission line. Our crews surveyed 11 miles of FDOT and Hillsborough County right-of-way using GPS technology and conventional surveying methods. We used ground penetrating radar technology to locate existing underground utilities and prepared drawings of the proposed route and underground utilities as located. During construction, our SUE technicians used our vacuum trucks to dig holes for new pole structures without interfering with existing underground utilities.
