KCI provided the Town of Rising Sun with a visionary master plan that details redevelopment potential throughout the town, evolving the area into a thriving mixed-use corridor.
After collaborating with the town administrator, KCI performed site visits and held informal interviews with local businesses to gain insight into the community’s hopes and expectations. Our team then utilized a range of innovative software tools to propose street furnishings, lighting/pole banners, gathering places, and parking lot improvements through green/sustainable methods. This deliverable was so well received that our scope was expanded to provide planning input for nearly every part of the town, enhancing the opportunities and longevity of the area.
