With a career rooted in innovation, operational leadership, and digital transformation, Jason Hardebeck leads the firm’s enterprise technology strategy and future-ready solutions.
In this role, he is responsible for shaping and managing the company’s technology direction, including oversight of core systems and business processes, support for industry-specific digital solutions and artificial intelligence efforts, and leadership of various internal technology committees and programs.
Before joining KCI, Hardebeck built a career across military service, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership in both the public and private sectors. He began as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy and later founded and scaled a software company that was eventually acquired by Facebook. His experience also includes senior leadership roles focused on technology innovation, economic development, digital equity, and venture growth across government, nonprofit, and investment organizations.
Hardebeck earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a master’s degree in business from Johns Hopkins University, in addition to qualifying as a nuclear propulsion plant operator through the United States Navy Nuclear Power program. Beyond his professional role, he is dedicated to advancing STEM education and workforce development through ongoing mentorship and board leadership.
