KCI is pleased to announce that Cole Harrison has been promoted to practice leader for construction management in Western North Carolina.
In this role, he will be responsible for guiding business development efforts, managing client relationships, and driving regional growth. In addition to his focus on North Carolina, he will continue to support the upstate portion of South Carolina, providing strategic guidance and project oversight to select initiatives.
Harrison has extensive experience in transportation construction management, having spent much of his career overseeing roadway and bridge projects for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). His background includes interstate rehabilitation, roadway resurfacing, bridge construction and jacking, and streetscape and sidewalk enhancement initiatives. With his thorough understanding of the construction process from utility coordination and plan review through project closeout, Harrison meticulously ensures compliance with applicable standards. His experience managing project schedules, budgets, and field operations has enabled him to deliver complex transportation projects while maintaining quality and meeting stakeholder expectations.

Harrison has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University and is a licensed professional engineer in both North and South Carolina.
