Ryan Flickinger is a Water/Wastewater Practice Leader and senior project manager with environmental engineering experience throughout Maryland and Delaware. His expertise includes detailed design of water distribution systems, hydraulic modeling, sanitary collection systems, sewage pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades, and civil land development.
Ryan has taken the lead on securing funding opportunities for several municipal clients through a variety of state and federal programs, including: DNREC and ODW State Revolving Funds and Planning Grants, USDA Water and Wastewater Funding and EDA Grants. Several funding efforts resulted in millions of dollars-worth of principal forgiveness equaling greater than 85 percent of the total project costs.
Ryan joined KCI four years after securing a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Delaware. He is a licensed professional engineer in Delaware and Maryland, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Public Works Association, and serves on the board of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Delaware. In 2011, Ryan was honored as Young Engineer of the Year by the ASCE Delaware Section.
