Baumann Promoted to Practice Leader

KCI is pleased to announce that Ashley Baumann has been promoted to practice leader.

Baumann will leverage her expertise in environmental compliance and historic resource studies to further grow KCI’s NEPA services from the Duluth, Georgia, office.

With more than 16 years of experience managing various environmental assessment and compliance projects, Baumann is well-versed in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) standards, Section 106 regulations, and Southeastern cultural resource guidelines. In her new role, she will support a variety of transportation agencies and provide guidance to mitigate impacts on natural and preserved elements.

Baumann has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and archaeology from Mercer University, as well as a master’s degree in historic preservation from the University of Georgia College of Environment and Design. Additionally, she is a Secretary of the Interior-qualified architectural historian, a member of the Southeastern Society of Architectural Historians, the Georgia Association of Environmental Professionals and National Association of Environmental Professionals organizations, and holds several credentials pertaining to regulatory policy. Baumann has further contributed her expertise within the industry by authoring and editing several environmental publications and served as the vice chair for the City of Norcross Historic Preservation Commission for six years.
