Daniel Garcia Joins KCI as Construction Management Regional Practice Leader

KCI is pleased to welcome Daniel Garcia, PE, to the firm as a regional practice leader for our construction management group in the west.

In this new role, Garcia will utilize his expertise to promote the growth and establishment of KCI’s presence throughout the state of Texas, focusing on nurturing strong relationships with major clients and key stakeholders.

Garcia has nearly 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, with a strong focus on construction management. He has led a wide range of initiatives including overweight corridor design and management, pavement design and management, materials design, construction administration, design-build, and federal compliance. In his previous role with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), he was responsible for the oversight of construction operations for the Pharr District, multiple area offices, the district laboratory, and the pavement testing department.

Garcia holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. Additionally, he currently serves as President Elect of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers for the Rio Grande Valley Chapter and is involved with the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.
