KCI Promotes Barrick and Seaver to Vice President

KCI is pleased to announce the promotions of two managers to vice president:

  • Nicholas Barrick, PE, LEED AP BD+C –Land Development and Wireless Regional Practice Leader
  • Randy Seaver, CGC – Subsurface Utility Engineering Regional Practice Leader

The new appointees have in excess of 55 years of combined industry experience, including more than two decades with KCI.

Nicholas Barrick is the Regional Practice Leader for both the Land Development and Wireless practices at KCI and is responsible for marketing and business development, operational and financial management, and staff development. He has extensive experience in civil/site engineering and surveying for a variety of projects including commercial, industrial warehouse, educational, residential, institutional, municipal, recreational and telecommunications facilities. With more than 60 professionals in his team, the Land Development and Wireless Practices service clients from Pennsylvania to Tampa, Florida. Nick is a registered professional engineer, US Green Building Council LEED AP, and Certified Peer Reviewer in Prince George’s County, Maryland. In 2020, he became chairman of the board of directors for Howard County’s Young Professionals Network.

With more than 40 years of experience, Randy Seaver has taken on the role of Discipline Manager for subsurface utility engineering (SUE) companywide. He is responsible for management, backlog, business development, training and quality control for a team of more than 83 professionals. SUE is one of the fastest growing disciplines at KCI, with $17 million in revenue in 2020, and has the largest geographic footprint ranging from New Bedford, New Hampshire, south to Tampa, Florida, and west to Las Vegas, Nevada. “Randy’s experience in similar roles, his time with KCI and his time as a licensed contractor give him the background needed to position the SUE Discipline for future growth,” said Market Leader Scott Riddle.
