KCI is pleased to welcome HoJin Lim, PE, CFM, to the firm as a practice leader for the subsurface utility engineering (SUE) group in Texas.
With over 30 years of experience, Lim is skilled in client relationship management, staff onboarding and training, policy formulation, budget planning, project planning and delivery, and workload management. In previous roles, Lim was responsible for planning goals and objectives, directing and managing projects, and overseeing a team of more than 100 staff members. Throughout his extensive career, Lim has utilized his expertise in technical guidance, financial management, and client relations to develop into new markets and clients alike, working with high-level entities such as the City of Houston, Harris County, METRO, GLO, the Port of Houston Authority, the Houston Parks Board, and various municipalities.

Lim earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. He is certified in floodplain management and holds a professional engineer license in the state of Texas. Additionally, Lim is Board Chairman for the City of Sugar Land Parks, Art, Recreation, Culture, and Streetscape (PARCS) and Mobility Task Force (MTF), members of Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and longtime volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Wine Committee.
