For years, KCI has been providing the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) with structural analysis, design, rehabilitation, and asset management services.
During fiscal year (FY) 2023, our team enhanced MDTA’s asset inventory, streamlined data management through ArcGIS Enterprise integration, and facilitated seamless information exchange across systems. Furthermore, the team worked to improve inventory accuracy, lifecycle management documentation, and risk assessment updates. To support more efficient decision-making and enhanced program support, KCI utilized a holistic approach for schema maintenance and design, requirements gathering, documentation, and standardization. By establishing a unified data channel connecting varying systems, seamless information exchange and real-time reporting capabilities were established.
With ongoing support for this initiative, our team provides expert guidance for asset management program advancement on an on-call basis while also providing technical software support, training development and delivery, standard operating procedures, and other pertinent documentation. Throughout this collaboration, KCI has consistently provided services despite being located remotely from the client, successfully delivering and building upon requirements established by MDTA.
