Substation Design & Engineering

As the core of our electrical power system, substations regulate, transform, and direct energy to ensure reliable delivery across the grid.

At KCI, our substation engineers provide expert engineering and design of power systems for electric utilities, data centers, clean generation, energy storage, and critical facilities for industrial and institutional clients in the private and public sectors. Our engineers have a broad range of experience in power substation design from 5kV to 500kV. In addition to high voltage (HV) electrical expertise, we utilize internal resources across the firm to provide supplementary services, like civil and environmental, that support projects ranging from greenfield substations to complex rebuild and expansions.
