KCI is pleased to announce that Amanda Izzo, PE, has been promoted to practice leader for water resources services across the South region.
In this role, she will provide strategic direction for the practice, lead business development and client engagement, support the growth and development of water resources staff, and oversee quality assurance and control processes that support successful project delivery.
With more than 10 years of industry experience, Izzo has built her career managing complex stormwater, watershed, and water resources projects for public- and private- sector clients in the Greater Mid-Atlantic and throughout the Carolinas. She combines a strong technical background with project management and business leadership experience, guiding projects from planning and investigation through design, permitting, and construction. Her expertise spans stormwater master planning, drainage system assessment and improvements, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, infrastructure rehabilitation, environmental compliance, NPDES permitting, and support to major transportation and infrastructure projects. Throughout her work, she focuses on developing practical solutions that balance performance, constructability, maintenance considerations, and long-term value.

Izzo earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland before earning her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is also a licensed professional engineer.
