KCI is pleased to announce Claude Ipock has been promoted to regional practice leader for construction management in the South region.
In this role, he will leverage 30 years of transportation procurement and construction experience to identify new opportunities for market growth, collaborating with clients and internal staff to deliver reputable initiatives throughout the region.
Ipock brings a unique blend of public and private sector leadership experience, having most recently served as Director of Construction for the South Carolina Department of Transportation, where he oversaw a $3.7 billion construction program. His career also includes leadership roles with Mead & Hunt and C.R. Jackson, Inc., providing him with a comprehensive understanding of project delivery from planning through construction. Since joining the firm in 2024, he has actively supported existing clients while also cultivating relationships with new prospects across both North and South Carolina, including numerous municipalities. Exemplifying his expertise, Ipock has been vital to the accomplishment of numerous large-scale initiatives, including the $221 million Port Access Road initiative, which provided direct access between a proposed marine container terminal and I-26.

Ipock has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in both North and South Carolina, as well as a certified Design-Build Professional through the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
