April 3, 2026 | Announcements

KCI is pleased to announce the promotions of Kirk Hoosac, RLA, to regional practice leader and Todd Mohler, RLA, ISA, IA, to practice leader for landscape architecture in the Gulf Coast region.

In their new roles, both will contribute to the ongoing expansion of the firm’s landscape architecture practice by overseeing project execution, driving strategic efforts throughout the region, and enhancing client partnerships.

Hoosac brings nearly 22 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a background that spans public-sector leadership and private consulting. He previously served as a district landscape architect for the Florida Department of Transportation before joining KCI in 2019 through the firm’s acquisition of Keith and Schnars. His experience includes planning and design for a diverse range of projects, including transportation corridors, commercial developments, residential communities, and municipal initiatives. In his new role, he will lead regional strategy, support team development, and expand KCI’s landscape architecture presence across the Gulf Coast region.

With more than 30 years of experience, Mohler has built a comprehensive career in landscape architecture and design leadership. His work spans parks, streetscapes, hospitality environments, planned unit developments, and commercial sites, with expertise across site analysis, concept development, and full design implementation through construction oversight. As practice leader, he will focus on guiding project delivery, supporting client engagement, and identifying opportunities to grow KCI’s landscape architecture services.

“Kirk and Todd have a strong understanding of how to balance design quality with project delivery and client needs. Their leadership and extensive expertise will help position our landscape architecture team to take on more complex work and continue building momentum across the region.”

– George Peck, PE, Service Line Leader
