KCI is pleased to welcome Nichole Mendinsky, RLA, AICP, CPRP, LEED AP, ENV SP, to the firm as a practice leader for the Site/Civil Mid-Atlantic team.
In this new role, Mendinsky will focus on expanding KCI’s site/civil practice throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region with services centered in land development, landscape architecture, and land planning. By leveraging her expertise, she will work to enhance the firm’s brand recognition and market awareness, formulate a pipeline of active projects and future opportunities, and cultivate both existing and new client relationships. Additionally, she will be assembling a team of diverse professionals experienced in providing site development, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and planning services.
Mendinsky brings extensive experience spanning multiple market sectors and design types, including campus and community planning, and detailed commercial and civic site design and permitting. In her roles previous to KCI, Mendinsky led multi-discipline efforts and completed projects for numerous K-12 schools, athletic facilities, university campuses, plazas, and donor recognition spaces in the education space, as well as site projects in the institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential market sectors. Excelling at stakeholder engagement, she is adept at identifying and balancing needs and limitations to create solutions that are both innovative and attainable.

Mendinsky earned her bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, she is a registered landscape architect in the state of Pennsylvania, a certified planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners, a Park and Recreation Professional through the National Recreation and Park Association, a LEED Accredited Professional, and an Envision Sustainability Professional.
