Beth Ostrowski, PE, PTOE, was recently honored with a Nashville Business Journal’s (NBJ) 2024 Women of Influence Award.
Recognized in the Trailblazer category, this achievement honors women in Middle Tennessee who work to shape their companies, improve local communities, and pave the way for the next generation of influential female leaders. Ostrowski was formally presented with the award during the Women of Influence event in Nashville.
The award, which originated in 2007, is presented annually to a group of outstanding women who have been nominated by a panel of judges based on professional accomplishments, community involvement, and demonstrated leadership skills. The comprehensive list of awardees is shared in a yearly, special edition of the Nashville Business Journal.
Joining KCI in 2017 as a senior project manager, Ostrowski has since progressed her title to regional practice leader, overseeing initiatives in the Southeast region from the Nashville office. During her tenure with the firm, she has demonstrated her expertise through leading large-scale transportation and traffic operations studies, representing projects to the Planning Commission and Metro Council, and leading the private sector traffic studies team, among other esteemed efforts.
Ostrowski earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University where she was involved with various extracurricular groups, including Engineers Without Borders, the Engineering Knights of Columbus, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. She is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Tennessee and serves on committees for both the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Urban Land Institute.
