KCI supported the 12-acre Devonport and Chrismar mixed-use development in Baltimore County.
The waterfront community, situated along Middle River, includes a 132-slip marina and 47 single-family townhouse condominiums. Helping to advance the initiative, our team provided civil engineering and site planning services, as well as assisting with survey and landscape architecture tasks.
KCI contributed to the project from the initial assessment of site and waterfront conditions through the regulatory approval process and development. Our team conducted boundary, bathymetric, and topographic surveys to inform design, addressed Chesapeake Bay Critical Area requirements, and secured necessary tidal wetland licensing and permitting, in addition to preparing a critical Water Dependent Facilities Report and Plan. Enhancing the site’s visual appeal, KCI also designed the community’s entry features and amenity areas, creating a cohesive connection between the residential and marina components.
