KCI is leading the preliminary engineering and schematic design for a new 15-mile toll road connecting FM 2759 to SH 36 in Fort Bend County, Texas.
This effort has included studying potential routes, evaluating alternatives, completing environmental investigations and surveys, conducting hydraulic impact studies, and coordinating with both NRG Electric and the BNSF Railway Company.
In addition, KCI is serving as the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for the final design of Segment C. In this role, our team provides project management and technical oversight, reviewing design work and coordinating the efforts of four consultant engineering firms preparing the final plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E). The KCI team is also responsible for ongoing utility coordination and railroad agreements to keep the project moving forward.
