KCI provided construction management and inspection services for Midtown Park in Houston, Texas.
The six-acre site sat vacant for many years before being developed into an urban park. Located just south of downtown, the renovation is helping to revitalize the area and bring more green space to the community.
Our team helped the Midtown Redevelopment Authority prepare bid documents, evaluate the bids, conduct progress meetings, process submittals, change orders, and RFI’s, and administer the construction contract. The space’s revival now brings many amenities to the area including a concert pavilion, dog park, great lawn, bocce ball field, food and beverage kiosks, retail space, public parking garage, and a multi-family residential development.
