This $2.1M project consists of approximately 1,600 linear feet of stream restoration of a Christina River tributary in the Robscott Manor subdivision.

The project is a comprehensive stream restoration designed to improve stormwater management for 12 DelDOT-owned drainage systems and enhance the surrounding community environment. Work includes the construction of a 3,800-foot walking path, two pedestrian bridges on helical pilings, and nine decorative retaining walls integrated into the landscape. Extensive stabilization and restoration measures are being implemented, including installation of rock sills, woody debris, energy dissipaters, and replacement of a sewer line under active bypass conditions. A detailed planting plan will introduce more than 3,600 native trees, shrubs, and plugs to strengthen the stream banks and floodplain.
