To meet the rising demand for more affordable homes, KCI prepared a master development plan with mixed-size lots.
KCI was tasked with providing an efficient layout that would accommodate a variety of lot sizes ranging from 20 feet wide to 45 feet wide. After successfully creating a site plan to utilize the developer’s space, our engineers advanced the subdivision plans through the necessary regulatory agencies, ensuring a seamless approval process.
Additionally, our team provided support for the development through construction plans that included utilities, streets, drainage, grading, a recreation center, and a lift station. To proactively address adverse impacts on other properties, habitable structures, and downstream drainage infrastructure systems, KCI also elected to design two detention ponds that would serve to mitigate future stormwater concerns.
