KCI is pleased to announce that Rich Rothrock has rejoined the firm as a telecommunications regional practice leader in the Mid-Atlantic.
In this position, he will leverage his comprehensive expertise in site acquisition, zoning, permitting, site and utility design, and construction management to further expand KCI’s presence throughout the region.
With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure, Rothrock has a proven record of guiding complex, multi-scale projects from concept through delivery, including large-scale cell site and fiber network deployments. He is skilled in managing cross-functional teams, cultivating strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and navigating intricate regulatory environments. In his previous role with DISH Wireless, he was responsible for the oversight of all new cell deployment, from candidate selection to final construction closeout.

Rothrock holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from West Virginia University as well as a bioengineering/streambank stabilization certification from Rutgers University. Additionally, he is also recognized as a Qualified Professional in Forest Conservation by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
