Brian Gensheimer Promoted to Regional Practice Leader

March 11, 2026 | Announcements

KCI is pleased to announce that Brian Gensheimer has been promoted to regional practice leader for the construction cost estimating and scheduling practice.

In this role, he will lead a team of 15 cost estimators in the delivery of comprehensive pre-bid constructability reviews, detailed contractor-style estimates, construction schedules, and post-bid services, while supporting contractors, designers, and project owners on major bridge and highway projects nationwide.

Gensheimer first began his civil engineering career as an intern with Armeni Consulting Services, LLC (ACS) nearly two decades ago, quickly progressing to Lead Bridge Estimator where he was responsible for overseeing large-scale project cost estimates ranging from $10 million to $5 billion in value. In 2023, he joined KCI through the acquisition of ACS, assuming the position of practice leader for construction estimating and contributing to numerous complex initiatives throughout the country. Recently, he has supported the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project, where he led the State Cost Estimating (SCE) team, delivering an independent production-based estimate, CPM construction schedule, overhead staffing projections, and risk matrix for the bi-state management team (BSMT) consisting of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC).

“With Brian’s promotion, KCI is well positioned to strengthen our presence throughout North America. His experience leading large-scale estimates on major projects, cultivating relationships, and developing strong teams will bring great value to our clients. We are excited to have his leadership guiding our momentum forward.”

– Erick Fry, PE, Corporate Service Line Leader

Gensheimer earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also is an active member of the American Segmental Bridge Institute (ASBI).
