The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) honors projects that seek to improve government and public options in broadband technology. On Wednesday, Oct. 1st, NATOA presented the Harford County Office of Information and Communication Technology with their 2014 Community Broadband Fiber Network of the Year award, in recognition of their efforts on the Harford Metro Area Network (HMAN).
KCI provided turnkey design, build and maintenance servces for the installation of the high-speed fiber optic network. The project involved the installation of over 160 miles of fiber-optic cable planned to connect over 150 different sites. Learn more about the award by reading this article.
